Games I will play in 2019.

In the video gaming industry is becoming hard to choosing something not only worthy, but primarily interesting for yourself. Time of iconic studios in the present reality are relating to the recent history. From thereof of less of personal anticipating if any game happens to out I more usually leaving unsatisfied. Chosen in the below list prompted me particularly from desperation. To most of it I have no firmly sureness.

VIII.) Control

Remedy Entertainment still stays for me as the creator of terrific Max Payne duology. They should have defended their right for creation of a continuity, as well as not hide the true circumstances of the affairs during the development of Alan Wake, which I was very much waiting for, because the main attention was given to PC and then demonstrated videos were from that version. News about that whole time the game was developing exclusively for Xbox evoked an indignation from that betrayal. Despite of that, Remedy defended the game and it appeared two years later for computers, but I didn’t want to play in it than, as I still didn’t touch. Just only enough of recognition and I guarantee that Alan Wake will be installed even though I’ve watched videos with the gameplay, which couldn’t lift any impression. Remedy Entertainment wasn’t evoke a rapture company then. Quantum Break not only by video, but also saw how it was played, was saying about, that is another console-class game and it’s ideas were either unsuccessful, as everything related to the serial format, or had the better realization, that I mean TimeShift (which in itself could be better.). I don’t have high hopes for Control, whose gameplay resembles a collection of ideas from previous games of the company. But I haven’t complete hopelessness this time either. Sam Lake, impress me again!

VII.) Rage 2

I couldn’t play in the first part for PC support lying, which John Carmack was introducing in developing process. After game release he gave formality apologize for things, which definitely were obvious in the creation period. But this is John Carmack and he always be of this kind. Even without those circumstances, I was watching videos with gameplay and only sure, that leaving of key staff put to the end of that great in nineties ID Software. Now, this is a part of a strengthening publisher, which is practicing exploitation of famous trademarks. Rage 2 is an example of clear commercial project without pretense on any breakthrough in the video gaming industry, what doesn’t expect when read, that primary developing do Avalanche Studios, which since announcement on the last E3, has in activity three (!) projects in totally with staff in 320 men. Motivation to play in one of three of these games, despite of all negative and especially poisoning eyes the brightness of the colors of their world, which reminds frozen aftermaths of inhalation of mushrooms in Far Cry 3-4, evokes by reason that maybe will be succeed in lucky shooting.

VI.) Blackroom

What doesn’t suit me in Blackroom is, according to the plot, the main hero finds himself in virtual reality and shoots with non-existing enemies and for this I can get imbue from the game. Returning from so long absence of John Romero is undoubtedly evokes a glad and, doesn’t alien for me, hope for the best. In addition, in Blackroom he promises a return to the classic first-person shooter of the nineties, but there is still no exact idea of what kind of game it will be. Will it something new in the genre? After all, Romero criticized the developers for being afraid for experiment. Either still nothing moving willn’t happen in Blackroom? The complete cancellation of Kickstarter campaign was due to the appearance of the publisher, and at least it’s a nice that the game’s budget willn’t humble and this may allow Romero to enter some interesting details into gameplay.

V.) Metro Exodus

Games of Ukrainian developers fixated on the lifeless and usually of all of them on post-apocalyptic world. I couldn’t get to the final credits in Metro 2033 due to poor plot, absurd artificial intelligence and crude gameplay. Metro 2034 limited by watching videos on YouTube, where was enough to understand that isn’t better. Metro Exodus separates from the previous game for six years and in some way it reflected to a positive direction. At least shooting in the gaming process causes me play this game.

IV.) SpaceVenture

This time the game will be released! It could have been released a little earlier, as they had intended during the winter holidays of 2018, and it could have appeared several years ago, but SpaceVenture was made by people who were aspiring to make a high-quality game without defects, and also, this small staff of developers hadn’t ample financial funds and in creating period they had personal circumstances. The history of the development of SpaceVenture is separately sapid and more important in it all, that the authors of the game are truly men of art, as once again proves, as also such atmosphere was in the company Sierra under the leadership of Ken Williams, who also contributed here. I'm just happy that finally will happen a return of the verily quest.

III.) Shadow Stalkers

The project lurked after the announcement, but there was no official statement about the cessation of development, as I wasn’t lost a desire to see more beyond of said. The ambitious spy thriller combining elements of stealth was planned to be released in an episodic format, which I don’t like, but this isn’t a reason to refuse to play. In each episode should has a guest star appearance, when two main roles should perform highly famous actors, as the protagonist inducted to Pierce Brosnan. Shadow Stalkers is attractive in the development by occupying of powerful representors of the gaming industry as the founder and head of 3D Realms Scott Miller and the creator and administrator also of the exciting 2015, Inc. Tom Kudirka. Looks, as usually happens, the reason of this uncertainty lies in the searching of funding. Without any doubt, at that moment in for earning reasons they’re betting on Ion Maiden.

II.) Project IGI – We’re Going In

In 2003, when was released IGI-2: Covert Strike, the last game in the series, the genre of tactical shooters was in it’s glory and not many people could had a thought that fifteen years later a grim future will come, where everything become simplistic and understandable for anyone, because it increases the chance for commercial success. The original creators, now bearing the name Artplant, have promised, that Project IGI - We’re Going In will back to basics.

I.) Ion Maiden

The available first part of Ion Maiden campaign brought me back to that hurricane of rapture which were in Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior and Blood. Under 3D Realms publishing, Voidpoint Studio turns on the Build engine to full power. What I didn’t like in the proposed episode is the lack of trifle in opportunity to look at myself in the mirror. With total thrilling, I’m waiting when get a possibility to play the full version, because the level design, quips of main heroine, a plot suitable for game, where the authors don’t limit themselves in fantasy and excellent gameplay recalls about those great classic games.
