211

Film looked promising in many aspects, but main attractive thing was a realism. If I try to memorize similar flicks of last couple of decades, I will call only examples, which better to call a parody on this. So maybe “211” could become a good one?

The story of this film has a many lines telling about people with simple lifes, which will be united by unusual circumstances. A great point of view in screenplay. When you watching films about bank robbery you don’t take attention on hostages, because see all of them at first time. However, when a manager of this place was introduced before bandits’ attack, and it was well made, you starting to worry for him when he stays under muzzle of weapon. Every branch of a narrative was starting a very interesting, but when you see unrealistic and unprofessional behavior of police as and character of Interpol agent of “must female character be in film” who whole time only tell about bad guys in trivial phrases “how they are unbelievable tough” is excess here, you’re losing the hope on the film. Everybody are gradually farewell with a mind and final collision becoming the game “Who will first play a fool?” Robust lines are crumbling with losing the price drama and evident consequences concludes in happy endings where all goes to peace and even India and Pakistan were founding it on Kashmir. Audience don’t see it, but guess. “211” in technically well made and acting is good, but the director who wrote a screenplay must spent more time for it.

The Final Word about E3.

Ubisoft again in presentation was the best of all, but what did I get? Everything are remaining in ambiguity. Will it reach until moment I will something to play? Of all watched E3 exhibitions, this was the most worst. I have never experienced spiritual fatigue as it was at this time. Following without any turns to down movement, the year 2018 for the gaming industry doesn’t have at that moment dignified games. I watched video with gameplay of Just Cause 4 and saw everything that was characteristic for the series in the past, that is, its shortcomings and this were in physics, artificial intelligence, caricature damage and, what is the least important detail, but finishes is the obsolete graphics. Memorized the demonstration of Just Cause 3 where all were the same. Avalanche Studios isn’t a kind of developers in whose games must play. I’m look at the calendar and in expectations remain only SpaceVenture without any date and didn’t go far the announcement and promises Shadow Stalkers which raises the question about appearance as well the obscurity about , what kind of game it is. From these that I saw on E3 and for what my fingers can touch – none of this will come out in this year. High chances had Trials Rising, but adherence to the old school and a liking for collecting will not let me play.
The gameplay will tell about Metro Exodus, but I'm betting on it an extremely low chances, that it’ll reach until installing of game. However, everything is possible. On a note, I have Control, The Quiet Man and, despite everything written, Beyond Good & Evil 2.

E3 2018. Sony.

The unusual by Sony’s side was concluding in the beginning of the event, after demonstrating of one game, they left for a long break. Incredible fail on their part. If about part of presentation is giving the deserved last position to them, then in the showed games it surpasses Electronic Arts by introducing Control, known earlier as Project 7 or P7, which most likely meant the seventh game developed by the Finnish studio Remedy. I chained my attention to it, but having deep doubts from watched, also coming from past games, I would certainly wanting the revival of this company, which would break free from the status, as I call it the “two-revolutions wonder” meaning Max Payne's dilogy. From shown video, I didn’t get any sureness at all. It had a feeling that Remedy put together the ideas of previous games as slow motion and with having of superhuman abilities. The ambience in all senses reminded me Past Cure. More details are needed and the gameplay for full understanding.
By removing the gap in Sony conference, the first half I was thinking that watching a music concert, besides not with the most entertaining performers, and not an event that elucidates the games. Of the shown were nothing of decent, but at least Sony isn’t dominates by the continuations of long-running series, but it doesn’t get better from this. Once it was funny to watch for Norman Reedus and his Merry Backpacks. I changed the attitude to Spider-Man, whose trailer made me rid from wish to see the game on the computer. Forget all the absurdity of the video as the use of electricity for containers movement, because it made for marketing purposes and such videos usually are not part of the game, and here it was obviously it designed for representation of the villains. I didn’t like the method of freezing in the air and during fights with a large presence of artificial intelligence the manifestation from the last side of the expectation and little activity. The lack of the gaming industry was already written before. Outside of the exhibition, I later watched a separate fresh video with gameplay, where memorized to me the analogy with Saints Row IV. I would like to know what Volition is currently developing? Watching that video was somehow better perceived than what was on E3. However, willn’t to be the game on PC - and doesn’t care with it.
