Some anticipating films.

Bronx

My film knowledge of Olivier Marchal in disliked 36 Quai Orfevres and excellent gritty MR73. To other flicks of director I couldn’t come to watching, because didn’t find a curious in them. Bronx evoked interest in the story depiction and participation of Jean Reno, where is interesting to see him in gloom.

The Fourth Horseman

In long years is developing a sequel of great of westerns Keoma activated to casting phase. I’m in doubts about need of this project due salad screenplay with non-Frontier names of characters and joining of other western shooter Sartana with returned to role Gianni Garko. However, no one of doubts hasn’t a mean. I will certainly watch, because I adore busied in project people and not against to see a European western.

Project X-Traction

Project X-Traction attracted in a story conception and involvement of two talented actors: Jackie Chan and Sylvester Stallone. Unfortunately, for American legend had a hurdle for performance in schedule conflict. He was changed on also muscle, but non-charismatic and non-artistic John Cena (although I saw him only in 12 Rounds, but I don’t think, that happened something new for this time.). Despite initial acting collaboration was more interesting for watch and no trust to director of Act of Valor, I don’t change my wish to see what will got from the story.

Frenchy

Jean-Claude Van Damme finally found a distributor in French TV company Canal+ with release in 2020. I still not fade in wish to see definition version of Frenchy despite on doubts, because did from heart.

Samaritan

Charmed in conception project of Balboa Production is promising not a just to be a meaningful in years a film about superheroes, it in own look will take a dark view on them. Participation of Sylvester Stallone gives a trust on Samaritan and interests in role he will act. Clearly, the most anticipated film of mine.

Nobody

I paid for a ticket on John Wick, because a scriptwriter Derek Kolstad. His influence was touchable in two DVD-movies One in the Chamber and Package and for many participated it were good films before and then after. Power of screenplay was in these cases. Choosing of Nobody is once again primarily based on the talent of Derek Kolstad. I want to hope his story vision willn’t ruin in a production process, but I already have doubts in participated men, what I mean a director Il’ya Nayshuller, who rejects with a lonely Hardcore Henry.

Force of Nature

Emmett/Furla/Oasis films isn’t so often release a really good film. Usually stories of their flicks are simple with possibility of naivety and sometimes can have a little of absurd. In quality of movies can criticize writers and directors, who, maybe, not so talented, experienced, non-artistic or “just want to finish a job”. Therefore, I haven’t a strong confidence in Force of Nature. Right now, I know a depiction of plot and acting staff. I see enticing a story conception, but good idea isn’t guarantee a success. At least participating of Mel Gibson and David Zayas can keep in watching and for me it’s interacting to see their acting talents and interaction in one film.

Allagash

On talented Tom Berenger is always pleasantly watch for me. A short role in “Faster” or on main roles in excellent Sniper series (waiting a new one!), “Bad Country” or “Platoon”. For him I will take a risk to watch “Allagash” by independent crew under first full directing debut of John Barr. A film also interested me in plot depiction, where is curious to see how Berenger performed the head character, and filming locations in Maine the state.
