I in one Sunday checked for self-confidence two games in which I didn’t believe.
Blacksad: Under
the Skin
If denote this
game as “adventure” it will an offensive to genre. A console creature, which
dared to appear on personal computer. Impossible to control, where must walk
around curved Japanese angles. Blacksad rarely allows to take control. Game always
asks to “press a button” and do it fast. A chosen phrase in dialogs frequently
doesn’t compare to words of main character. In free uncomfortable walking, a
player haven’t location choice (in adventure!). A task lies to come to lighted
subjects and follow to the screenplay. A game’s story in implementation of a
cheap till dime detective, where what I saw, are trivial and primitive ways of
telling. Anthropomorphic animals make Blacksad a weirder till turn it to
impossibility to perceive. After this pulp game, I have a wish to open a new
noir film for myself.
World War Z

Astolphe de Custine was writing, Russians can’t create own and they do plagiarism.
In developed projects of mostly Russian staff of Saber Interactive catch
similarities from other games. Primarily, World War Z associates with Left 4
Dead, when in small details I admit a one thing – a “reloading icon”, which is
clearly identical with Ghost Recon series. Creators have own and memorable
thing – a zombie horde. A massive crowd of climbing on each other deadmen
attack a team of four people around of the world. It’s attractive, but in
short time became a tiresome due often and without directing style in
presentation. That’s all, folks – take guns, don’t stop to shoot and rise
levels in this aimed for multiplayer’s pot the game. And no script in World War
Z (all these talks of immovable mouths don’t make a plot.).
