Whisky originated with
similar to tobacco one function of using – for medical purposes. A sweet taste
did a cure to drink for everybody. Flavor of whisky wasn’t always as it known
today. It was unbalanced and rude thing many centuries ago. One undisclosed
Irish chieftain died from much using of whisky on Christmas in 1405. Since those
times the drink had evolution process to perfect. I’ve got opportunity to open
and taste The Balvenie 12 Year Old Triple Cask. That’s again Speyside Single
Malt as I had a bottle of Glenfarclas 21 Year Old and created on William Grant
and Sons, which is a world famous by excellent eponymous Grant’s.
The Balvenie 12 Year Old
Triple Cask hasn’t unusual in characteristics about barrels and no adding to formula. I like it for that. From a good
inhale goes to comfortable mouth rinsing, where the drink can tickle and a
little burn if hold so long, to same in quiet and without fireworks finish.
That’s whisky doesn’t belong to hard, but not so soft as Jim Beam, Ballantine’s
17 Year Old and The Macallan 10 Year Old. It gives one experience on using the
drink with ice or without. The Balvenie 12 Year Old Triple Cask was a fine choice for evening for me.
