To arriving Cash Truck.

In January, 15, if nothing will change, on cinema screens will appear Cash Truck – a film, which reunites a great actor, martial arts master and just a man Jason Statham and director Guy Ritchie about whose filmography I’m going to make overview and finish what I’m thinking on upcoming film after all that.

A debut film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is a discovery film. Ritchie solely wrote a fantastic screenplay, which wonderful he told as a director. A living story filmed in liked close to sepia color occurs a criminal side of London, where curious personages played by interesting people in real get in tangled and sometimes comedian situations. Guy Ritchie disclosed for the world Vinnie Jones. A scandalous footballer, whom knew only people interested in English League. Guy Ritchie revealed for the world Jason Statham, whose past acting experience can’t call three music video, where mostly he was moving his body (I can’t call all of these a dancing.). A real experience was selling fake goods on the street – a talent, which made confident the director to hire him. Statham doesn’t play in the film a special role, but it was accidental rise of gifted man, who is easy adaptable in different performances (London and my adorable Hummingbird.) and other talents as he’s learnt martial arts, what makes believe in wielding in his characters.
A second Ritchie’s film Snatch has same components till Jason Statham, who in this movie takes a lead part. Director’s criminal London still attracts. Today, I can say that it was Ritchie’s best period in everything.

In next two films, Guy Ritchie leaves what made his name associative (his story has similarities with Tarantino, which finish here.). I didn’t watch Swept Away, which is remake of Italian film Travolti da un insolito destino nell’azzurro mare d’agosto (Swept Away…by Unusual Destiny in the Blue Sea of August in English release, where I checked a first word translates as “Overwhelmed”.) and that’s film I saw. Nice drama about two different in social, politician, life experience people brought by circumstances on uninhabitant island, which erased disagreements between each other. It doesn’t need a remake, what made confident myself after watching of original.
NB. I definitely would watched Ritchie’s Swept Away if a main role he would gave to Jason Statham.
Revolver was a collaborative screenplay work of Guy Ritchie and Luc Besson, who didn’t destroy reputation even as director then. Together they made a prolonging disaster. 110 minutes of torments in this evening when I saw it on TV. I was waiting the end of this moving to nowhere a psychedelic. A scene of psychology influence of Statham, who is again in lead role, on Ray Liotta’s character, who explodes then on some criminals, is funny absurd, what everything can give in describing of movie’s screenplay. Revolver appeared in 2008 and until Cash Track – that’s the last Jason Statham’s performance in Ritchie’s flick.

Director returns to criminal London in RocknRolla with using of his famous recipe. A film collected many actors, who became famous later and just only. Gerard Butler was one, who was known and promising on that moment by 300 and he had good movies in next couple years, but that’s all folks. His character or anybody else doesn’t stuck for attention, because overloaded in this untied, overlong in time and sour screenplay, where Ritchie was repeating himself. Snatch has a hard kill Russian, RocknRolla gave two hard kill Russians, but they faint characters in contrast to splendid Boris “The Blade” in magnificent acting of Rade Serbedzija. These two Russians were tiring that they still alive. RocknRolla has nothing from the past two films of director. A title is a nickname of a character in Toby Kebbell's execution, who rudely embedded and appears in person too late and for a short time. His deletion from the story wouldn’t change it.

I was expecting a parody from Sherlock Holmes and saw offensive on Arthur Conan Doyle’s books. It was lost of Guy Ritchie’s individuality and sold to commerce. In this and it’s sequel director didn’t write a screenplay. His next flicks were launching of franchises. I didn’t watch them after what hardly to call Sherlock Holmes, because it was needless. Director’s last The Gentlemen was teasing of criminal London, which smelt of commerce.

From Cash Truck can’t expect best or just good movie. I don’t know how will change my mind to release. Maybe, I’ll buy a farm – I have no idea. The film is a remake of French movie Le Convoyeur about which I knew in announcement on film reunion of Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie. I’ve watched it. I adore French Neo-Noir of since zeroes. Usually I have not a like to flick, but watching of them gives me a crazy think that making of this ambience in DNA of every French director. France without a doubt adorns, a charm, which can’t give Los Angeles, where occurs the remake. But, as usual, who knows?
Le Convoyeur shattered on what I like, don’t like, what could be better and et cetera. I like plot’s conception about regrets in fail and when see as, for example, a beautifully filmed scene of contact of blood and green petrol.
And Jason Statham, a king of remakes (which are mostly on excellent movies.), who hasn’t a good film since 2015. He disgraced himself in cinematographic pit as in flicks with other bald guys, where only Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gave a hope, what was in time when I was in university. So, it was a very long time ago. Of course, Johnson isn’t rival to Statham in acting and charisma. Series of commercials of “Wix” with Gal Gadot, which satisfied me and it gives an idea about collaborate them in a full-length film despite miss Israel in past isn’t an actress, but she was in Israel army and maybe something can do if hire fine men.
Yeah, what else? Please, Jason, come back!
