Review shatters. Apex – even before watching.

I’m really don’t expect that this film will very exceptional in everything of what are making independent studios where around of their production as twenty-fifth frame appears Bruce Willis. I’ve chosen Apex on it I wrote introduction, which will tell why I wanted to watch. 

“I hadn’t dislike to acting of Bruce Willis in RED 2 (2013), but he looks outsider in a film. I repeat not my words, which precisely describe, “Bruce Willis didn’t act in RED 2 – his experience did it”. I didn’t miss films with him before. After RED 2 I started to choice. A comedian actor, an action hero and Emmett/Furla/Oasis star now presented currently (!) in 25 full-length movies since 2014. I saw five of them. “Like it or not” I willn’t tell. Independent films in which Bruce Willis makes visits are simplistic in story. Of course, not for Bruce’s cameo I wanted to watch Apex. 

By accident I clicked on TV on Surviving the Game (1994), which impressed me in conception of using of person as prey for hunting. I had breathtaking in tension of watching of standoff of unarmed man who by using survival skills against armed rich men. Later I knew that conception was before. I can’t consider Hard Target (1993) follows to it. That’s more a backside thing and with Jean-Claude Van Damme it becomes a grandiose action than surviving. This idea appeared in a short story The Most Dangerous Game (1924) by Richard Connell, which adapted in eponymous film (1932). I didn’t read original composition, but a movie is a weak implementation of that what succeeded Surviving the Game. A year ago, the conception, but with more preys and mix with current politics, appeared in The Hunt, which leaded to be nominal by trailer. I eventually downloaded and jumped to the end where saw expected. Apex took to attention that going for prey five hunters are actual targets.”

I had a phrase, which I was thinking would use, because I don’t have other on mind that it will alternative: “Bruce just went on a job as usual for him for years.” I’m recalling as I once caught the ending of Hostage (2005) and I saw plenty of feelings in Willis’s negotiator. Amazing effect will give his performance in tremendous Blind Date (1987) – that’s film from other time of cinema and the world too. I adore with him Striking Distance (1993), which I recalled, because watched again few months ago. However, let me come to tell on watching cancellation of Apex. I found that plot was incorrect interpreted and, actually, it sounds “it tells the story of five elite hunters who pay to hunt down a man on a deserted island. But their prey fights back with mind games, traps, and a determination to survive they’ve never witnessed before.” It doesn’t important what’s a story will, because synopsis can say anything wrong. Initial, as I knew, there were director and scriptwriter (who both also producers of own movies.) have notorious experience with Bruce Willis in couple of his latest, which are sci-fi movies for budget, which I wouldn’t spent even if action would take in one room. Self-forged bad name and trailers of that made write out a conclusion. Maybe, I’m too hurry with suppositions and despite their haste production of movie they would make a one-hit wonder as I know with many disastrous directors (Unknown by Jaume Collet-Serra, Smokin’ Aces by Joe Carnahan, Heat by Michael Mann from recalled examples.). I don’t think that there will this case. I checked list of films by studios involved in making of Apex. They haven’t a qualified flick.
