Inmate #1: The Rise of Danny Trejo

Those known to me actors who started late performing are great on the screen. Usually one of reasons of success in matured background behind of them. Past before acting of sweet Danny Trejo stays away from civilized. He had criminal life. Told by himself and close people a documentary chronologically guides about this man. Mostly film devoted to bandit past. Stories of that activity, which was leading him in jails where gloom setting of San Quentin describes in details. Danny Trejo visits places of past, when director in his narration supports in footage. Not perfect, because few stories have got chopped and not so much about acting where hear curious stories, see Trejo’s personal relation and I like view in personal experience of film’s interviewees, who recall impressions of first seen performer’s character’s death, but it slightly part. The documentary achieves in disclosing of Trejo’s personality, which the actor shows without any support by interviews. He is impressive narrator who demonstrates fantastic acting abilities where I had a thought that I would like to see him in serious dramatic role without any guns.

I knew many of told stories on Danny Trejo before of watching. However, it always pleasure to listen in narration by this person (of course, in perfect that is when you see this man in front of you.). The documentary film gives that’s pleasure.

Notes at the Ruins. #7

#7. The Fourth Polish day.

Hellraid was of games I wanted to be released. Mod of Dead Island turned to individual game had on this stage an attraction to play, but project put on frozen condition, which prolongs five years, and resumed now as a downloadable content for Dying Light. I don’t sympathize in what way Hellraid finished. That’s game mechanic instantly tires as it was in found some less than dilettante videos with available one level for those who did a pre-order. A sadistic mission to kill every monster whom need big quantity of slices. I don’t think that I will play if so will at whole in that’s piece of game, which gives a view that Techland was looking for a way for unused material.

Demonstrated playthrough of Ghostrunner with it’s game director made me confident that I must not to play. Developer personally was executing a compulsive genocide goal on levels. Sometimes he was giving comments. The game director was strong believable for bring me to conclusion that I willn’t wait a full release for get of expecting. Developers put on their page in Steam comments of people whom Ghostrunner impressed. It always repelled me. Deeply primitive method of marketing for naïve and inexperienced people. Similar and more worst I had in reading about Hitman 3 on developers site where they praised “award-winning Glacier technology”, to levels gave description “every mission location in HITMAN 3 is meticulously detailed and packed full of creative opportunities.” and on plot was “from the breathtaking start to the dramatic ending”. Full narcissism.
