Notes at the Ruins. #18.

#18. Gamescom. Sources of breath.

I’m not so interesting to do any project about Second World War, but if take this assumption I would be demonstrate dark sides of Allies. Destructive Creations has short list of games, which no one was for interesting, but it doesn’t relate to presented War Mongrels. A conception on German soldier who truly believed in Nazi ideology, found out a truth, which turned him and his created team to independent side of war is liking to me. Presented in gritty ambience would be a spectacular improving if it will in the game. Video shows audience attracting explosive moments and gameplay reminds me Commandos series, a kind of games, which I adore. I want that War Mongrels would be a promising game. A week for awaiting gameplay. So hope.

Part of inspiration for The Stone of Madness, as wrote in description, are Desperados, Commandos and nightmarish Shadow Tactics, but it’s a clearly individual game, which doesn’t excite me. I don’t like drawing, movement of NPCs, plot conception and gameplay ideas as RPG branches and presence of magic in this game are all of this is fatal shots to probability to something find out.

It had understanding to why I didn’t want to watch a second Future Games Show, but august broadcasting is a mirror reflection of what was in June. My attention was leaned till the end. It was rarely when I was taking my eyes off to something else. Strange, but usually show released in promised time is watchable. About whole presentation can write that somebody knows how and what present. Debi Mae West and David Hayter did perfect hosting. I’ve laughed on Metal Gear Solid jokes even despite I don’t like these games. Unplanned moment was with broadcasting broke to dark screen where was return on ten minutes back, but two minutes later situation normalized.
Maybe I’ll play in Deathground where is impossible not to recall Jurassic Park film. Unknown antagonist who must evade dinosaurs by stealth and solving puzzles. I didn’t like in presented video that developer pronounced as obey to add game in wishlist. An unpayable mistake for Jaw Drop Games.
On Watch Dogs: Legion appeared multiple videos where can know about game in details (as I knew that London isn’t so large.). I didn’t get a new information in Future Games Show, but I still have a curiosity to launch it.
In Sound Mind was of three following games gave a luring effect. I didn’t install an available demo and watched a video of it. I wasn’t hyped from ambience, which hasn’t a suspense to which developers aspired. A main character, who doesn’t make efforts to show individuality, can’t cross police ribbons and talks about something to find for cut them. He must be have a dystrophy. I rely my answer will “Nope”.
Second Extinction offers walking with stops for kill dinosaurs’ hordes if learn more about it’s game. That is not my taste in gamemaking.
Bright Memory: Infinite is continuation of released one-hour Bright Memory in this year. I’ve checked a walkthrough video, which shows a flaw truth, which hid presented video of direct sequel. A loud music, which usually was hard metal, switches on in closed spaces where you must shoot teleporting creatures who have a badly damage system. A heroine has additional opportunity of katana using, which can do slices on remote distance which is a wishing perfection for a man who lies on sofa and don’t want to leave it for turn on TV or kitchen visit.
