A comedy doesn’t
require a large budget and gives opportunity for attraction of wide auditorium
if it not a violent film, because not every country is ready to use hundred
millions for blockbusters as main studios of the United States. And I’m
watching a lot of movies of this genre make cinemas of Italy, France, Germany,
Russia where every of them has notable actors and directors. A comedy man of
French cinematography is Dany Boon, whose director’s debut Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis
(Welcome to the Sticks) became an international breakthrough for him, which wasn’t
repeat as it was in his last work, which was a couple years ago where he was
using brought acclaim the South French accent in La Ch’tite famille. I
didn’t see that film, but I usually like his works and for that reason I’ve
watched Le Lion where he only acts.
A duo of French
scriptwriters indicating in English name themselves didn’t make an effort to write
more than simple. A girlfriend of character lives under a fake name, but her
real has a page in Wikipedia. Writers didn’t care on details, actual behavior
of people, consequences of actions. Everything acts in naivety in this serious
for comedy and foolish for drama film about a contrast pair, which, of course,
will find common between each other. Was I laughing? Maybe, a couple of times,
but it was quiet.
