Notes at the Ruins. ##21-22.

#21. Rolled down to amateurish.

Realms Deep was in vibe of games of nineties. A show launcher was announcement of Graven by Slipgate Ironworks, a company who hosted this broadcasting and developed trouble remake of Rise of the Triad and Bombshell, which lost the impression to the end of playthrough. Graven is a spiritual successor of Hexen II by words of creators in which I didn’t get a wishplay after watching gameplay videos. It was supporting of experience with Hexen where I was making completion attempts in 00s and the best did a couple years ago, but a game wasn’t exciting for walkthrough, because wasn’t well staged for it. Developers of Graven promise that willn’t allow to stuck on where to go and what to do. In available gameplay video has nice directing of introduction. I’ve got impression in abundance of animation. Riddles are savvy elaborated. I’m disturbing that in combats can lost a wish to do them in short terms and it will turn to passing of creatures as was in the end of gameplay’s video. Not will wonderful if magic will defective against enemies. I need more information.
Interviews with people who created games of 90s had own attraction when it wasn’t find out in presented games, which made by fans of that time. A demonstration of Blood, with which did a needless correction, gets to feel an absolute difference to these appeared games on show, because it developed professionals. Nightdive Studios, who made this lighted re-release of dark Blood, is a company with a list of desecrations and in 2020 they have got rights on lovable SiN, which will get a remaster and more offensive – a remake. These games had a preferred fate than now. I watched gameplay video of System Shock’s remake by this studio – it doesn’t hide that is a raw game.
Brutal Fate was one exception of whole show to where I put my eye. It’s sole developer and publisher Marcos Abenante didn’t show dilettantism in combined gameplay video at least (I also saw what author did previous.). Perhaps he knows what means fun.
Before of presentation I checked a list of going to appear games and was looking for videos, which I’ve watched them again on show – that’s a blame of these developers. Not professional behavior was in makers of Realms Deep. Sometimes somebodies of backstage staff were gazing in sensor phones. Moments required acting were equal to YouTube videos.

#22. Time for speaking heads.

A repent pose wasn’t frequent, but strange was happening in a studio. The second day of Deep Realms had a little of dilettante games and surplus of interviews. I with a pleasure was listening stories of past from John Romero and Jon St. John, which, as yesterday, are partial and full versions can find on 3D Realms channel, but twenty minutes of every conversation is far much in these circumstances. Additionally were talks with makers of unprofessional games. Among of exposed I found again for following. Prohibition era shooter Fallen Aces in cartoon graphics by two men, but I don’t believe so much.
A broadcasting had much of that I didn’t want to write. SiN Reloaded – a dishonor on classic on which showed a revealing evidence of damage in comparison video. Nightdive Studios must be closed by moral.
I have got enjoyable and truly. Ion Fury expansion pack for my list without doubt. I’m hoping that in this time destination to perfect will successful. I want it from War Mongrels. Helldorado is the last game of this specific genre was released in 2007. Destructive Creations revealed a charm. In gameplay and not only in it. Wide-personality in characters who speak powerful dialogs. A place is atmospheric without words. Shots of execution squad were thrilling in every handing out. One level was with multiple moments. Two days before developers had live on Twitch where were talking about aspiration to historical accuracy, which, fortunately, usually see in games what usually don’t see in films. The Eastern Front where action takes in War Mongrels was a place for Nazi collaborates (Ukrainians, Latvians.) and Armia Krajowa, who was fighting for independence of Poland, but was against Jews. That would be tremendous if developers will show not only Nazis.
I finish with it – great John Romero was in nineties. He talks right – does wrong. If positive on Daikatana can write that it was with ideas when no nice word about unplayable clunky Sigil and upcoming Empire of Sin, which gone for good with developers’ knowledge of history. Unfortunately.
