Project X-Traction

I have one question to a movie with long post-production “Was it better if Sly Stallone would acted in Project X-Traction than executed his commitments to Creed II?”

The Matrix 4

The fourth part of The Matrix is one, which can defines “a reasonable” in Keanu Reeves’s last sequels. I’m interested in continuation story and how dead characters will be revived (I afraid it will as was with Agent Smith in Matrix: Reloaded.). I’m happy to comeback of Daniel Bernhardt, but that is not ultimate to I will watch.

Red Prophecies

COVID-19 became an opportunity to return to businesses on which hadn’t a time or do for busy yourself. Sylvester Stallone used quarantine period for director’s cut of Rocky IV. Francis Ford Coppola was in devotion to make closer his vision of The Godfather III. I suspect it became a reason for Alexander Nevskiy or for his stable producer, who directed this film, Alexander Izotov or both decided to release a project filmed in 2007 under Russian title Пророк: миссия пятого ангела, which translates The Prophet: The Mission of The Fifth Angel with Eric Roberts in leading role and where Nevskiy hadn’t any presence. The title reduced to The Prophet in 2012 trailer, which was promising unhappened “coming soon”. Apocalypse trendy year passed. Film was changing in titles started as working Oracle: Go Blind, some time it was Mission: The Prophet and eventually Red Prophecies, which stopped mentioning until last September trailer. The movie edited to current political situation (US presidential election.) and additional filmed scenes with lonely sitting Nevskiy in the dark room as can see in presenting video. His films always quietly watchable, because laughable. But flicks of last few years became better in quality due of inviting of professionals. I liked a couple of them. Andrzej Bartkowiak, who was director of Maximum Impact, did full squeeze of infirm acting abilities from Nevskiy (whom he sent on improvement of it.) and found a way to make fight with Mark Dacascos, because Russian is useless in it too. I am not confident in Alexander Izotov, who also wrote a screenplay of Red Prophecies, but it doesn’t looks as films before of Black Rose. Anyway, I will watch film of fifteen years old.

Wrath of Man

I don’t want to write titles of films after possible in watching Wild Card, because it’s a shame that Jason Statham had involvements in all of that where decency has one Mechanic: Resurrection, which just uninventive in screenplay. Name Guy Ritchie doesn’t mean for me today. Writers pushes to a question “Why I still want to see this film?” It is due of Jason Statham, but my decision on watching still unstable.

The Asset

Imbalanced in films director Martin Campbell and same in attitude scriptwriter Richard Wenk after The Expendables 2 made collaboration in The Asset, which produced Millennium Media. Maybe independent studio allowed them to make a good flick? A factor that I can pass is existing. I like presence of Michael Keaton and Robert Patrick.

Big Shark

Tommy Wiseau has a peculiar point of interesting. A man, who did a film, which has failing till laughing acting, dialogs remind English language textbooks of elementary school, funny staging decisions and a lot of more what makes The Room an entertaining movie. A screenplay conception isn’t worst – that was due of interpretation. Wiseau heading filming process in full or has appearance as actor in movie, music video or something else – he’s presence is always for watch. After so many years he returned to directing of full-length film on which he wrote screenplay and performed a main role. Tommy Wiseau by Tommy Wiseau and Tommy Wiseau in lead.

The Last Mercenary

I like diversity of films in which Jean-Claude Van Damme participates. He demonstrates enormous acting. Unfortunately, movies aren’t wonderful for last years. The Last Mercenary’s scriptwriter and director David Charhon made, I say “like it”, buddy cop flick De l’autre cote du du perish (in English release it calls On the Other Side of the Tracks.) with a serious note. A plot of his current project doesn’t hype in known “estranged son” and “whom accused in crime, which he didn’t commit”. I take on attention for JCVD, qualified director and combination of action and comedy.

Nobody

Derek Kolstad is a name of scriptwriter of Nobody, who gives one watching reason. I don’t worry about Christopher Lloyd. He is a professional actor what defines in stay great of pronouncing of breaking tongue dialogs and do out of mind acts of written characters in junkyard films. When it is not about a director. Il’ya Nayshuller had a good idea, but that’s quality wasn’t in writing and directing in his Hardcore Henry. I hope Derek Kolstad wrote a fine screenplay, which, I wish, it survived development process of soulless company and the director.

Castle Falls

I adore Dolph Lundgren and Scott Adkins for multiple great qualities, but I cannot watch their films, because I know they willn’t glad me. Castle Falls in my interests due of story’s conception, which was written by Andrew Knauer, who has excellent work The Last Stand, and directed by Lundgren to whom I can trust in this case.

Frenchy

This film was ready for appearance and it should happened in 2020 if not COVID-19 by words of actor Josef Cannon and news of Rodin Entertainment website.  Jean-Claude Van Damme changed his mind on digital distribution about which he was talking with such companies what gives more chances that release will finally happen – I just want it. I’m expecting staging of action scenes from Frenchy when haven’t confidence on screenplay what hasn’t a meaning.

Stallone: Frank, That Is

Less known brother of famous Sylvester Stallone is no less a spectacular person. A documentary about him was demonstrated on different festivals since 2019, but still not available for everybody. Awaiting continues.

Samaritan

Not in December 2020. Virus stopped filming process of Samaritan, which pushed a release date to far. I still anticipating what will story about and Sylvester Stallone’s performance of curious role.

Cry Macho

A project in development since 1991 where Roy Scheider was in lead role, but production halted. Twenty years later, it could be a comeback of Arnold Schwarzenegger, which had attention that it is a not action movie as was another unrealized film With Wings as Eagles in which actor was going to play. However for my delight, Arnie showed that he can be a great drama performer in Maggie and Aftermath. Realization of Cry Macho will come true by Clint Eastwood, who finished filming process and will give another rapture – performance of a main character. I’m glad that making movies on real events are currently in past (I don’t want memorizing details of J. Edgar.). I was in happiness that saw his last The Mule in theatre and would like to see Cry Macho there.
